iI didn't quite make it to Mount Rushmore, but stopping in the Badlands made more sense. The road to the KOA passes through part of the Badlands NP. What a crazy looking place what with the rock eroding in the oddest and most intriguing ways. The road is fine, but very twisty and narrow in places. It was too late for pics, so will get some tomorrow enroute to Mount Rushmore
