Touring near Nelson, British Columbia
Day's distance: 127km
Total to date: 5,664km (corrected)
Temperature range: not sure what it was early in the morning, but peaked at 22C on our ride around the countryside.

My cousins have an older house with lots of character backed up on one of the hillsides of Nelson, BC. A great place to live! They toured me around today; one has a Honda 750 Shadow, the other has a Suzuki Boulevard (not sure of the size). Nice bikes and they like to ride fast. Not much opportunity for pictures. :o) I seem to have forgotten to take photos of their dog and cat...perhaps before I leave tomorrow.

Today was mostly a 'rest' day; we did have a short, scenic, ride of about 127km. The overlook is of Castlegar, and the kayaks in the river is near Castlegar where we stopped for coffee. After the ride, my cousins had the pleasure of some house maintenance and I spent most of the day catching up on my website. Later we took a walk in a park further up the mountain; some of those pictures include BOB (Big Orange Bridge). For dinner they grilled up some west coast salmon and vegetables. Delicious! Thanks so much for having me stay and ride with you!

My odometer tally didn't add up; what's shown is the corrected version from my GPS which I turn on when I'm riding.
